| Get Up and Go Expo |
| The 2nd Annual Expo sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce was a successful event. We had many sponsors as well as exhibitors there giving kids some exciting fun things to do as well as showing what their business represents in our community. Inflatables, games, face painting, balloons, fingerpainting, Busey Buford the Bear and MetLife Snoopy were there to play with the kids. We have some non profit organizations there to sell bake goods and pizza, and custard was given away free by Junior's Custard and Burgers. Our own Cornbelt Fire Department was there to show the kids how to get out of a burning home safely. We donated the door proceeds to the Mahomet Area Youth Club for their building fund. | Creature Comforts Opening |
| Ribbon Cutting/ Grand Opening was held on Sunday May 2, 2010 for Dr. Becky Wheeler, D.V.M. She recently opened her Veterinary Clinic and Animal Hospital at 1204 E. Oak St, Mahomet; Phone 586-2537. Creature Comforts Animal Hospital can accomodate housing for your pet so call for more details. The Clinic also held their first annual Bow Wow Meow Benefit. |

Come out and see all the best cars from the Mahomet area! See cars from your childhood as well as the newest models! It's a $10 entry fee on the day of the event with an optional $9 pre-registration fee which comes with goody bags. Winners are selected by participant votes and awards are given at approx. 6:15pm with the top 15 receiving trophies. There will be raffle tickets for great giveaways as well. OPEN TO THE PUBLIC!
