| River Run |
River Run was held on Sat. Aug 14 started at 10 am ending at 2:30 at JT Walkers. Had a good first year turn out, we hope this event will grow next year. The best poker hand was held by Lindsey Bohlen, Mansfield and won $100.

| Library Grand Opening |
Mahomet Public Library District held on Sun Aug 15 the Grand Opening. The Boy Scouts raised the flag with the Junior High choir singing the National Anthem. Cake and refreshments were served to many people that attended.

Come out and see all the best cars from the Mahomet area! See cars from your childhood as well as the newest models! It's a $10 entry fee on the day of the event with an optional $9 pre-registration fee which comes with goody bags. Winners are selected by participant votes and awards are given at approx. 6:15pm with the top 15 receiving trophies. There will be raffle tickets for great giveaways as well. OPEN TO THE PUBLIC!
